Paid a premium for fde, got loose sloppy fit on threads.

Attempted to use this on a ZRODelta MilSpec 7075 Carbine Buffer tube, and it was all kids of a loose sloppy fit on the threads. Ordered this up in FDE at a premium. Ended up using an alternate milspec brand in black and it fit the threads perfectly fine. After trying a couple, it was definitely this specific castle nut with the play on the threads. Maybe it was a single bad one, who knows, but it was annoying with a new buffer tube, new Magpul DT-PR stock, everything else was snug and a good except for this one. On a $10 product not worth dealing with the return, just annoying waste of money spent. From my experience won’t recommend or use them again.

Review for
ZRODelta Mil-Spec 7075 Carbine Buffer Tube
Good quality. Don’t recommend an AT3 fde castle nut on it, was a sloppy fit. Used a standard mil spec black castle nut and it worked well from a custom local shop and had no issues. Threads were good. Have this paired up with a Magpul DT-PR stock and it’s tight no play, great pairing.

Typical Magpul great quality, comfortable fit, no noise or slip has a snug fit on a mil spec carbine buffer tube. Fair price for a quality product. Recommend.
