gunsmith mill work needed, but a great upgrade

You will have to mill .480” below the top of the lower and remove material off of the side of the lower just above the mag release. I did it by hand using a 4mm or .1575” Dremel bit and electric Dremel and then Birchwood aluminum black after smoothing my cuts with fine Dremel sanding bits to make it black again. Once done it works great! This Ambi bolt catch does not come with the spring, plunger, or pin. The Ambi bolt catch does not come with instructions. You will need to call dark storm for pdf of where to cut. If you do not have hand milling or machine milling experience or skill then you will need to pay a gun smith to modify your lower.

Holosun Compact Laser Sight
The LS117green is visible from my house to the apartments over 300yards out at night. Anything 100yards and in at night is easy to see the laser and it is bright at night. However, it is useless in daytime lighting. It is visible with my Streamlight HL-X 1000 at night and indoors. For the price it does exactly what it is designed to do. It’s a nighttime/low lighting laser.

best single stage

Virtually no take up. The break is a wall and then snap. The reset is like 2mm. My finger barely moves to fire and rest. Fast follow up shots.

Matched up as good as most standard hand guards, light, seems sturdy enough for most range applications, I wouldn’t recommend for combat. But this more for the range, plinking, and maybe light competition shooting.

It’s very similar to the B5 bravo stock. It’s well built and works like a stock lol. No issues running drills for me.

Kaw Valley Precision MACH 3-Lug Mount
It threaded directly to my SILENCERCO OMEGA 9K and matched perfectly with the KVP HK 3 Lug Suppressor Adapter for 9mm on my CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2. I rapid fired 3 35 round mags with no issues. No baffle strikes. However, I recommend you do as I did and rock set the law valley adapters to your suppressor and barrel for good measure.

Vortex Venom 1x26.5mm Red Dot Sight
The vortex venom impacts low even with the elevation maxed out at 10 yards on a FN 509MRD. Vortex told me that this is common and I should consider a shim plate from Umtactical. My point is if Umtactical is producing a solution to a problem because the manufacturer Vortex doesn’t want to fix a common problem then the product is defective and needs to be re-designed.
