This model works if your Mossberg has a takedown bolt, not the large cap that screws over magazine tube. I have a mossberg 500 but this didn’t fit because it used a “590” style magazine cap.

There’s a lot of confusion on what Mossberg shotgun this will fit. This model fits Mossberg with magazine tube caps. I have a Mossberg 500 but it came with a 590 style cap not the traditional takedown bolt. This device goes around the magazine tube and is pinched between barrel support and magazine tube cap.
