What you get is not what you think you will get...
The hip belt is NOT wider at the place it connects to the bag. At least not the one I got. Mine has a flimsy 1 inch webbing sewn into the bag and does not look like it will last. interestingly, All the video reviews I saw showed a tapered (as in It is wider at the place it is connected to the bag) hip belt which would not only be more comfortable but would last longer as well.
Also the hyration bladder does NOT have a screw top (for ease of filling). It just has a slide-type fill opening which is obviosly a cheaper version of the original design.
Such a Shame that Eberlestock is sacrificing quality to save a few pennies....

Tried to call Eberlestock. And left a VM because "all associates were busy helping other customers". Well it may be true and they were all probably answering calls about the same type of issue...
No response so far
Then sent an email looking for answers but guess what- so far no response...
This one is going back and it is highly unlikely that I will consider this brand...

This bag is just the ticket for when I am headed out for a trip and need to/want to keep all my hunting gear and non-hunting stuff in one place. It has Enough space to hold several smaller gym-size duffle bags which jis what I do to keep my stuff otganized and easy to find.
A winner and the price and construction are awsome as well.
