Picked up an EOTech XPS 3 not too long ago for a shorter AR build to go along with the recent fixing of suppressor procurement and figured why not pick something up in case I need longer shots. This does not disappoint, been to an outdoor range with the unity flip to the center attachments and can reach out and accurately poke targets up to 500yrd's away without any issue in identification. if you going to do anything shorter, I'd recommend the 3x magnifier but otherwise go with the 5x that little bit of extra really helps in target identification and follow up shots, even with an FRT. just make sure you get the right riser for your optic, my fist one was too short... oops
