I needed a case to take my AR15s to the range and back and this one fit the bill. Sturdy yet not too bulky, had a shoulder strap and a zipped outer compartment to hold magazines. For casual use this bag is a great value.

My only slight criticism is not with the bag itself but the packaging. I ordered 2 bags and they were shipped separately on different dates. The first one came in box that was the size of the case so that one was fine. The second one came in a small box and the case was FOLDED in half which means that the bag is constantly flopping over when standing empty in my closet because the "spine" has a permanent bend/crease in it. Wasn't worth the money to ship it back and no guarantee I'd get the replacement in the correct sized box so I kept it.

I normally buy Aimpoint H-1 red dots but found myself needing several more optics. I have Vortex scopes (which are great) so I opted to buy some Vortex red/green dots. The option to choose red or green dot is nice and the cantilever mount works perfectly for me not to mention that I don't have to spend even more money on mounts.

Contols (push up/down arrows) are OK, although I think I'd prefer clicking knobs. But the arrows do work well and are in a very convenient place.

I like that it comes with the flip up caps also, rather than bikini style caps. Warranty can't be beat!!!

No issues with function. I only used these optics on .22LR and 9mm rifles, nothing high powered, so I can't comment on the durability with higher powered rifles.

I only gave it four stars because something bothered me just a tad at first when looking through it, maybe it's part of the battery compartment that can be seen (not sure)....but I'm used to that now.

Well made case with good padding. I just needed something to put my rifle (with folding stock) in to take to the range but wanted it to also protect the rifle and be as small as possible. This case fit the bill perfectly!!! This case also fit my bullpup just fine.

As mentioned by others, I wish it had a shoulder strap but I gave it five stars because I DID know that it only came with carry handles. I do think that if it had a shoulder strap they'd sell even more of these because the size and quality is great for short rifles.

I carry all my magazines, eye protection, etc. in a range bag and have no need for a case to be able to carry a lot of other gear. I could fit a small amount of gear in this bag though if I needed to.
