Don't throw away your receipt.

The list of compatible weapons is suspect. It will not, in fact, fit a Walther P22. Ask me how I know.

That said, it's a nice piece of kit. Amazingly bright green dot. USB C charging. I'll put it on something else but it's unsuitable for the purpose I bought it for.

Difficult to set up, but worth it

I bought this to help me run the spotting scope for my wife during her long range competitions. Right now, I'm using it with a Leupold spotting scope. It works, after a fashion. The hardest part is carefully setting the spring-loaded (and very well padded) arm & brace arrangement to hold your phone in the exact right spot. There is a trick to this and I recommend finding Carson's YouTube channel as the online tutorials were a great help. The instructions provided are complete, but the videos gave you a lot more information.

Once you have your adapter configured properly to hold your phone, it works like a charm. It is extremely easy to mount & unmount this adapter from my spotting scope. It takes half a second to hang it in place and it doesn't budge once it is attached to the eyepiece. The spring loaded arms on the Carson are strong and I have no concern that my expensive smartphone is going to fall out of its padded grip.

The video image you get is highly dependent upon your phone's camera and the optic you're mounting it to, of course. But I'm quite happy with it so far.

So much improvement!

I bought this to replace a Russian spotting scope I had won in a raffle. I can't believe how much I was missing! The image is exponentially better with the Leupold scope. I'm using this to be a spotter for my wife in long range competitions and this should give me a break and improve a bit of domestic tranquility in my (admittedly weird) household.

The focus ring turns easily, the magnification ring less so. It's not terrible, like my Russian glass. The built-in sunshade slides in & out easily, but I haven't needed it yet. The case seems quite sturdy and is a welcome addition. Others have complained about the tripod and while it isn't great, it does the job. There is a soft case sized for the spotting scope inside the case that comes with its own neck strap. It's a tight fit and it tends to pull the lens cap off when removing the scope from the soft case. But these are really nitpicky sorts of items.
