for my C39v2 I had to use a heavy file on the inside of the bottom piece...need to increase clearance
by about 3/32 of an inch...fits perfectly after that...heat dissipation is a bit better than the walnut...
went ahead and got the long version, which requires removing the front strap loop...awesome look with a

nice , conveniently organized kit ...size of a small pistol hardcase.....once you figure out how things connect ,you're set for 17-45 cal pistols ,ARs,AKs,shotguns,deer rifles.....brushes -mops-a few patches- handles....just add some Hoppes, some CLP
