The Strike Industries Blast Shield makes a noticeable difference at indoor ranges. It effectively directs blast and concussion forward, reducing side blast and making shooting more comfortable for both the shooter and people in adjacent lanes. With the shield installed, perceived noise and pressure at the firing line are clearly reduced, especially on short-barreled rifles.
Installation is simple, fitment on a standard A2 birdcage is solid, and it adds minimal weight or length. It does not eliminate recoil or sound, but it significantly cuts down on the sharp concussion that indoor ranges are known for.
Overall, it’s a practical and affordable upgrade for anyone running an A2 flash hider who shoots indoors regularly.
