MegLite used to be a leader and a top notch brand. For unknown reasons, the management of the company in recent years has been nothing short of embarrassing. Not only have their products fallen far behind the competition as another reviewer points out, but I have had several seize up lately where the electronics cause batteries to drain and corrode the internals to the point where you can't open the light. Requests for "lifetime warranty" support go unanswered after a year. Notice I didn't say, they challenged the warranty- they simply no longer respond to warranty requests.

Quality Control Problems at Faxon- watch out!

I purchased this a couple of months ago and just tried installing it. It would appear Faxon is out of spec on machining the gas key as it "impales" itself on the gas tube or else the bolt is not machined properly to fit into standard barrels. I checked this with 3 other rifles and it fit the same way on all 3 so I know the problem is with this BCG. Unfortunately, I am beyond OP's return dates. Stuck with this junk unless I can convince Faxon to fix it.
