This is a nice, light weight upper. But for a $1,000; Get a PWS. In order to adjust the gas system, you have to either remove the hand guard or use a flat-head screw driver. Seriously… who’s idea was this?

Quality Control

Back-Ordered this back in March 2021. Originally ordered the Stainless Steel Wylde .223, 1-8 twist. By September, it still wasn’t in-stock but offered a replacement of Nitride barrel in 5.56/.223 with 1-8 twist. By mid September I received a nitride barrel but in 1-7 twist. The inside of the upper receiver also had tooling marks and was not smooth. Which made it difficult to take out the charging handle. The nitride process of the barrel was also light and was a dark brown color, along with the bcg. I was very disappointed. (Left the same review on the nitride version).

The nitride process of the barrel was also light and was a dark brown color, along with the bcg. Oh and it has a heavy rail. Looks light, but it’s thick and heavy. I was very disappointed.
