A great alternative for the classic Converse Chuck Taylor basketball high tops, but with water-shedding and fin-fitting capabilities, and better ground-gripping treads! The Cordura uppers should be more durable than the canvas uppers of the typical Chucks.
Just a word on fit: if your feet are narrow, go with the standard sized width, but if your feet are normal to wide, definitely get the wide sized version. Your feet will thank you as I found the normal width much too narrow, causing me excruciating discomfort to the point of having to limp as I walked at the end of the day. I discovered the wide version to be extremely comfortable and look forward to rocking these shoes on concrete, sand, dirt, and mud!
