I made the mistake of shooting my 450 BM with the stock Buffer and spring. A magnum's got nothing on this thing without the correct buffer/spring setup. It felt like an angry mule! I researched a lot, many suggested and weights. I have a BCA 450 18" barrel, side discharge. IMO this upgrade makes this firearm so much more manageable and pleasant to shoot. It kicks slightly more than a 4/10 single shot with that feeling of the cushioned aftershock. A needed upgrade to an AR in 450BM. Unlike a standard AR when you push the detent down, the buffer shoots out. This device, you need to tilt downwards to let gravity do its job.

This thing works great. When I ordered it the picture showed it has a nut as well as the description. After I said something the picture changed, I can't post the picture. I said something to Optics planet about the missing nut, still waiting on a reply. I can't post a picture of the t won't let me post the picture.
