This mount is well made and fits my rifle perfectly. With the overhang of the front of the mount as pronounced as it is it looks like the red dot can be used like a scout scope. The red dot I'm using sits on it nicely and I can still use the iron sights with the red dot removed...

I ordered a BKL254 for my Glenfield Model 60 and it worked fine... I did have to adjust the elevation a lot more down than I expected...

Got a Marlin Model 60 and decided to try out the drop compensated BKL254D7... It worked exactly as it was supposed to... No excessive elevation adjustment...

I love it!
