Seems fine

Written on Sep 24, 2023

It's a 50 Beowulf so hard to tell if it works. Looks cool as heck though. As for the shipping, absolutely sucks. DHL provides nearly no updates and it seems to show up whenever they decide to deliver. This pissed me off so much on last 3 orders, I will be going somewhere else to find parts.

Good, but not absolute

Written on Sep 29, 2021

First, quality and QD feature is great, for the price it’s amazing. Second, it’s not Absolute co-witness it’s something in between lower 1/3 and absolute. But still to match absolute you have a very costly LaRue option or this. I have both and this on a pinch works just fine.

EndoMag 9mm Tuning/Trimming

Written on Aug 24, 2020

I completed my 9mm carbine with a 16" Faxon barrel and a Aim 9mmm Nickel Boron bolt on a set of Andersons. I elected to go with the EndoMags as I didn't like the punie look of a colt or glock mag out of an AR lower. At $30 each or $80 for three, these are not cheap mag inserts, plus you still need to buy 3 pmags at $10 each if your lucky to find them. My first experience was there was limited info on how to install them and had to search YouTube to make sure I was doing it right. The Extractor is just a plastic tab, that hit my Aim bolt on the first closure and prevented it from closing. Apparently this is normal operation as they require "Tuning". Well after several slam sut bolt releases, it did function. But the case ejector plastic tab was gouged up pretty good. It was also very difficult to insert on a closed bolt. This I found, was due to too much height of the ejector tab. So I held my breath and trimmed it with a razor blade, lightly and smoothly a little at a time. One can see this when closing the bolt slowly and observing the contact point. I was successful at trimming all three mags and using 5 dummy rounds, I could hand load and eject all the rounds. I then proceeded to trim the capacity restrictor as in my free state I can have 30 rounds... This also required a bit more trimming than what the directions call for as you need to cut all of the "V" off where they tell you to, not just in the middle of it (Directions has a picture of where to cut). It was the differ
