Great buffer system for 300 BO
Written on Mar 01, 2026
I have a 300 BO that was having issues with subsonic ammo. I tried all the buffers I had and would still get a few failure to feed with subsonics. I do not have an adjustable gas block, gas block and port are aligned and tried multiple BCGs. I had bought this buffer for another build and tried it in the carbine, and it has work flawlessly since. I am not sure why, but happy it did.

Trijicon RMR Type 2 FDE
Written on Jan 02, 2022
This is my 5th RMR sight. I have two of the dual powdered and 1 type 2 auto adjusting and now two of the type 2 manual adjusting. This additional sight is great and on par with Trijicon products. I also have a Sig Pro, Leupold DPP and Holosun 507k. The Trijicon is far superior to the others with the DPP coming I a close second. Only wish the Trijicon had better access to the battery.

Great night signts
Written on Oct 02, 2020
Bought these to replace some old Trijicon HD nights sights that were around 10 years old and had lost most of their brightness. Bought the Novak style this time as that is the style I have on my other pistols. Lamps are super bright and install was a breeze with a sight press.

JP Enhanced Bolt

Review for
JP Enterprises Enhanced Bolt Assembly
Bought this bolt to replace an Odin Work bolt in my 6.5 Grendel. The Odin bolt was was failing my nogo gauge on two Grendel barrels, it would pass the field gauge but I wanted a tighter fit and Odin would not change out the p. The JP passed both gauges and functions much better. Finish is great and the stronger material is a plus.

SureFire X300 Ultra Weapon Light is the best
Written on Jun 06, 2020
Review for
SureFire X300 Ultra LED Weapon Light
I have had multiple pistol weapon lights, from Streamlight to Inforce Weapons lights. Most used on my Glock 19 and Kimber 45. I liked how the Inforce was shorter and had less carbon build up after a day of shooting, but it was plastic and broke after a year or so. The Streamlights mount broke on me twice, after the second time I sold the warranty light sent to me.
The X300 is great, a lot brighter and easier to switch from gun to gun. It comes with a Pic rail adapter and a universal adapter, it seemed half my guns likes the Pic rail and the other half liked the universal. I order a second light and have one light with the pic rail adapter and the other with the universal. A little pricey, but I probably spent more on the lesser lights than I would have if I would have bought these to start with.

Strike Industries Link Curved Foregrip

Review for
Strike Industries Link Curved Fore Grip
This is a great foregrip. I have it on two AR's and love it on one but not the other. A couple of things to note first, to the review that said there were nodules on the bottom of the forgrip, this is true, but it is in the design - slide the foregrip back and forth and you will find the spot where the grip fits flush. This is due to the fact it is made for both keymod and mlok. On to my review, on my carbine (16in barrel with 15in rail) the forgrip is wonderful. I have it placed where I use the C-clamp method and there is no issues. On my pistol (11.5in barrel with 10in rail) the forgrip is place as far forward as it can be, but due to the shortness of the rail the foregrip feels a bit awkward and I think a standard vertical grip would work better, and most likely I will change it in the future.

Product was dead on arrival.
Written on Jan 04, 2020
I wanted to like this dot but never got the chance. Upon receiving the dot I looked though the sight, assuming there would be a dot due to the solar panel; there was a faint dot that washed out in any bright light. It would also disappear when I covered the solar panel, okay so the battery is dead. I verified that the battery was installed and tried 2 other new batteries. I read though the instructions to verify I was not missing something, nope. Sight was dead on arrival.

Wilson Combat Bullet Proof Ambidextrous Thumb Safety
Written on Nov 21, 2019
I have a Kimber Stainless Steel Raptor that had their traditional cast parts. The ambi safety snapped off, rather than putting another sub-par part in I opted for the Wilson Combat Bullet Proof Ambidextrous Thumb Safety. The part was not a drop in and required a bit of fitting where the safety contacted the detent and where the safety passed the trigger parts. This fitting was relatively easy with a small jewelers file. After fitting, the part is tons better in look and feel than the original Kimber part.

Great mount

Review for
Daniel Defense M-LOK Scout Light Mount
I used this to mount a SureFire M300 Mini Scout to a MPX with a aftermarket MLOK rail. It places the light in the perfect 1-2 o’clock position and tight a gain at the rail. Fit and finish is on par with Daniel Defense products.

Odin Works Adjustable Gas Block
Written on Jul 14, 2019
I purchased the Odin Works Adjustable Gas Block to replace the adjustable gas block that came with my Wilson Combat 458 Socom. Wilson’s has block has the traditional two set screw adjustments, the issue I had was the inner set screw had a stop that would bottom out and keep the block from total gas shut off. The Odin Works has block is much better. With the click and forget adjustments it was much easier to set it up. With my 458 I was way over gassed and Wilson gas block would bottom out without shutting enough gas off, Odin’s block works perfectly and my 458 is no longer veering itself to death.
