I bought the green retical version and can say that it is crisp and clear outside. I have an astigmatism which has mad red dots hard to use because of the Starburst effect. I have used an Eotec, aimpoint pro and another high end red dot on my service weapon but finally settled on a trijicon acog 4x because of the etched reticle. I spoke with my optometrist about that Starburst effect and was told that green would seem crisper because of the light wavelength. The green is great for eyes. I have it mounted on a cz scorpion. I zeroed it at 25 yards with 115gr. Full metal jacket. It's on at 25 and 100 yards with the center dot and using the botom hash mark on the circle itvia on for anything 15 yards and closer. Easy to know the ranges. The mount works great also. It is solid and does not move and can't unlock unless you want it to. I bought the 507 in green for my handgun and I love it also. I work for the largest law enforcement agency in the world and when the firearms instructors were looking for new guns they had a expert in rex dot pistol optics come and teach what he new and recommended. This guy is sponsored by trijicon and evaluates lots of red dot sights. He recommends Holosun because in his experience they have been more robust and longer lasting than the competition.

First thing I noticed was that this mount is lite for what it is. That was in comparison to a Burris one piece mount I have. I mounted it on my LWRC M6 A2 with a Riton X7 tactics 1-8 scope. It mounted up perfectly and seems rock solid. I used locktite and it hasn't moved. I have used various mounts and optics on my service weapon (Colt m4 select fire) and this is a good solid mount for a fraction of the cost of the "top tier" manufacturers. I ordered another because it just works and for not a lot of my hard earned money.
