Great value but not perfect

I like everything about these binoculars including focus, clarity, construction, and eye relief with glasses on. However, I have to readjust the diopter setting every time before I use them; the previous setting does not seem to hold for some reason, even though the center dial has a locking detent. After I set them up, which is quick and easy, they are good for that session, but all three times I used them I had to reset them. Also, the diopter adjustment is not very broad, which could be a problem for someone with more vision issues than I have. I am happy with my purchase and pleased with the overall performance at this price point.
