Great stock! It far exceeded my expectation.

For a howa long action there aren't very many stock options. I wanted something I could target shoot with and hunt with. My choices were promag ,boyds, B&C(only hunting style stocks) or custom.

Recommendations for anyone who buys this stock

*epoxy bed it (groups will shrink and be far more consistent but its rare this doesn't make any stock better even chassis systems!)

*Add a limb saver if your shooting something larger then 6.5mm with light barrel(I used a Remington style limbsaver pad and drilled the plastic peace the factory butt pad slips over. There were dimples that matched Remington style pad perfectly .)

**For hunters - If your just hunting and taking a shot at 200 yards or closer this stock is more than accurate enough and probably will not need epoxy bedding or a recoil pad upgrade.

Some of the more expensive scopes I own have slightly better glass. However I will happily make that trade to precisely place my shot on the same exact spot on paper every time. The scope to track well. We will see how well it holds up to recoil.

So far the Athlon 8x32x50 is held up well for the last 2 years. While I finally had toss my weaver classic extreme 4-16x50 after 4 years of fantastic service and abuse.

Over all very satisfied and will be ordering a second one if it holds up well.
