This makes shooting in low light/indoors easier. I went with the green post.
The all black stock post was a little difficult for me to find, when shooting in doors or low light. I have no problems, now.

The body is made of kydex, and the metal head of the key is hollow. The double lock pin is plastic.
I don't expect it to last long. If you are a LEO/Military/Etc get something better.
I bought one someplace else, since OpticsPlanet requires you to be a LEO to purchase.

Leupold PRW Weaver Style Rings
I used the 1", low mount (030317541446) with a Sig Sauer Whiskey3 4-12x50 (798681551927) on my Savage B17 FV-SR. It does depend on the shooter's preferences. It did require a second hex key to bend the top bracket around the scope. I would recommend putting a few layers of masking tape on the scope, to help prevent accidental scratches. The accidental scratching is not a con if you are patient, and watch what you are doing. -- If you do not have one, I would recommend getting a Wheeler Fat Torque Wrench Screwdriver (661120535560) to install these.
