I used three of the on a free float tube on my 6.5 Grendel. I did not want to add picatinnyrails the rifle so I searched for some short rails that matched the 2.5 inch radius if my existing tube. These mate up perfectly. I measured, drilled and tapped for three of these (red light for coyotes, bipod and QD sling attachment. The only issue I had was that the screws were to short. I ordered screws 1/8" longer for the propper length. It couldn't have turned out better.
I simply love everything about this bipod. Here are some things about it.
-It is a very small bipod, which I like, and the legs can extend for guns with long magazines.
-It is VERY sturdy, rock solid.
-The legs pop inward, not outward, and lock.
-It rotates a very slight amount.
-The leg bottoms are rounded and rubber.
-The springs are a little powerful and stiff, but that is a good thing, just be careful with your hands fingers!
-The design of it looks really cool in my opinion.
-Cheaper than most other bipods which don't have nearly the same amount of features or quality.
-Comes with a stud mount.
-The rail mount tightens very well and uses a thumb-screw.
The low cost of this camera allows me to have more cameras in the field to scout more locations. The camera takes good pictures and is very flexible when it comes to resolution burst settings etc. I have even hid one of these cameras at my home to monitor who comes and goes during the day while I'm at work. I plan on buying a few more.
Extremely satisfied with this scope. The first focal point allows for quick hold over at any zoom level. The zoom ring is a little stiff but the addition of the zoom lever easily solves that problem. The warranty on these scopes is outstanding!
