I installed the new gas tube on my rifle and went to the range. The bolt wouldn't even try to cycle. When i got back to the shop i removed the tube and found it was plugged with a grayish flux like material. I attempted to dig it out but was unable to get but about 1 inch of the substance out.
I bought this ambie safefy because i had upgraded my pistol grip to a Stark Industries grip. The grip was more ergonomic but wider causing an issue with operating the stock safety. After I installed it I was impressed with the 60° throw and also the ability to quickly return the safety back to safe mode using the trigger finger without having to adjust my grip. It does have a slight bit more wobble inside the receiver then the stock safety but after putting about 500 rds through it I do not see for see any issues down the road with it. I do wish they would provide diffrent style options for the throw levers, such as alittle taller for a more positive thumb application.
I bought this to replace a standard flash hider. The finish and fit are excellent. This is also a good looking unit that is better then alot of muzzle devices in that the cut/patterns are not so aggressive that it will get tangled when walking through brush. The only down side to this is that it makes the sound of the shot much louder however thats a given with any comp devise. It does a great job of compensating for muzzle rise and felt recoil, there fore helping with follow up shots.
Perfect size and fit. Just enough lenth on the charge handle tab but not long enough to snag
Came quick and a great selection of colors. Big fan of anything from Strike Industries. I've bought several products from Optics Planet. The only time I had an issue with the fit of a product they exceeded my expectations.
This is the second one of this style holster I have purchased to carry on duty. The design allows for a very quick and smooth draw. You can get adapters to allow this holster to be carried in the high, med, or low positions. I prefer the med carry. This design allows you to place the web of your hand directly on the weapon and without having to reposition your hand, your thumb and index finger naturally hit the release buttons. I highly recommend this holster.
