Probably Not Worth the Trouble

The finish matches my FDE receiver perfectly and they are very light, but they are too tight. It seems I will have to sand away the coating completely on the pins to make them fit, and that's not worth the trouble in my opinion. A spare standard takedown pin I had layout around fits the same receiver without issue and I will likely just go back to those.

KE Arms Drop-In Trigger
Dropped this trigger into a BCM lower to replace the original milspec parts. This trigger is a massive improvement. The break feels sharp and consistent. Play with the reset length via the set screw on the trigger - I found it functions reliably with an uncomfortably short reset and thus let it out a bit further to my liking. I have not experienced any issues with cheap steel cased, military surplus, or match ammunition.
The only issue I had is the housing did require some fitting before I could pin it in place in the receiver. To be exact, the front corners of the housing had to be filed down a bit before I could squeeze the pin holes into alignment. This was annoying at the time, but I am so happy with the end result that I still give 5 stars and would buy it again.
