Vortex really hit it out of the park with their new Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 & 4-16x44 FFP. First Focal Plane for this price is incredible. And the glass if good! You can pick an MOA or MRAD reticle with horus subtensions for holdover. Zero locking turrets. It is not illuminated, but is that absolutely necessary? In most cases no. It has a 30mm tube, gather light very well. 65 MOA of adjustment and a good field of view, without sacrificing too much on high power. And the glass is good on high power. It gets a little darker than an HST or PST or Razor, but that is to be expected. It is truly a phenomenal scope for the money and allows those of us wanting to money an FFP for range on less than critical firearms a way to do so without breaking the bank. I bought one for a 300 win mag, and it was zeroed in just a few rounds and held up well under recoil. I liked it so much I bought two more. You cannot go wrong with this scope.

This is an excellent red dot sight. I have the option with the red dot in the illuminated circle/crosshair. This makes sight acquisition very fast and intuitive. The dot itself is not fuzzy and has good definition. The auto on feature based on movement is very nice for a shouldered/slung rifle to re-engage quickly. The controls are well placed and easy to use. Adjustment is also straightforward. It uses a standard battery so that is easy to find and replace, and the battery life is good. Love the offering by opmod in FDE. The only slight negative is the lens covers are not attached to the sight, so they must be kept up with when removed. But this is not a big deal. Overall, and excellent sight that performs well and is quick on target.

I needed a higher ring than Ruger ships with their rifles, so I ordered this single #6 to pair with the #5 provided. Unfortunately it was not high enough for my application, but it is a solid ring. Hard to beat the Ruger ring system on a model 77, especially in stainless, as it matches perfectly. Can't go wrong and not exorbitantly expensive either. Definitely recommend if you have a Ruger and need more height.

This systems beats everything else I looked at in terms of size, tightness to frame, universalits of application, and ease of operation. Easy to attach, adjust and fun to shoot. Shipping was fast and no issue with fit given the 4 rail pieces to mount to different pistol types or rail lengths. Mine stand off the trigger guard just a hair, but does not detract from ease of reach with trigger finger or non dominant hand.

Have looked at lots of lights on the market and this one really has the rest beat by a long shot. The 800 lumen light is one of the brightest if not the brightest in this size category. It mounts great and out of the way on both pistols and long guns. Easy to use and lightweight. Now in tan its even better. I have put mine through harsh environments and it functions flawlessly. Battery life is good. The one minor negative is having to remove the light to change the battery but it is easy to remove so no big deal. Can operate with on/off rocker switch or pressure switch. Prefer the rocker. Strobe feature is handy extra. Light is blindingly bright.

Great case with lots of storage. Able to to taken apart. Durable zippers and fabric. Lightweight and attractive. Sturdy and already proven reliable. Hard to beat the price. Color is good for general use as well as tactical use.
