Any threaded barrel rifle deserves at least some type of muzzle device. If you are like me & don’t want the politics involved with owning a suppressor, the Kaw Valley linear compensators are a good alternative. I have various versions of these on multiple caliber rifles from .22lr and beyond. They definitely help with sound, muzzle flash for shooter & anyone else around, & they do help with muzzle lift to a certain point. Kaw Valley makes a quality product with a very good finish. I have also found that they don’t affect the accuracy at all in the multiple calibers that I have them on. I highly recommend these over radial muzzle devices for most applications. If you’re looking for the most relief from muzzle lift & felt recoil in high calibers, you will probably prefer the radial brake, but your ears & people around you will probably dislike you! The biggest & best part of the linear comps. Is the fact they forward the biggest part of the sound down range. IMO/ Kaw Valley makes the best of the best of all that I’ve tested & I’ve tried quite a few of “All” muzzle devices. I hope this helps for anyone considering these. Happy shooting.
