I just installed this set on an American-made Palmetto State Armory PSAK-47 G2 (stamped receiver) that came with basic polymer furniture. I haven't shot it since the swap and cannot comment on durability of the finish or wood, but so far I am impressed. The improvement in the appearance of the carbine is striking, and the butt stock added an inch to the length of pull and a bit more comb height than the polymer stock, both of which are welcome. The stock sling swivel is of better quality and the pistol grip thicker, which fits my hand better. The finish on my set is consistent. Minor fitting was required. The fit of the butt stock in the receiver was slightly loose, which I corrected by applying some thin aluminum foil tape to the sides and bottom of the wooden tang that inserts into the receiver. The pistol grip and upper hand guard fit perfectly. I had to do a bit of sanding on the top and bottom of the rear wooden tang of the lower hand guard to get it to fit into the front of the receiver. Drilling pilot holes for the included screws to mount the butt stock was an easy job. If this set holds up, I will be delighted with the purchase.
