I ordered these mounts to go on my Ithaca LSA-55 betting that the receiver was milled the same as new tikka rifles, and they fit precisely upon installation and were just barely high enough for my 50mm scope to fit with the front cap on- I did shave some material off the cap as a precaution though because it was VERY close. No touchy touchy. Also the removable recoil pin was a bit too large for the screw holes in my old Ithaca so I filed it down to fit snug instead of leaving it out, the newer rifles must have bigger machine holes. With the recoil pin oriented towards the front of the ring, the pin dropped into the hole and the face of the ring was perfectly flush with the opening of the action so they did something right haha. Nice and tight on the scope as well and the machine threads were all smooth, they are finished a nice matte black that matched the finish on my scope perfectly as well. Love it!

Haven't mounted it yet but from what I can tell the Midas tac feels like a very high end scope (positive clicks, smooth but not loose zoom/parallax) and the sight picture/eye relief are fantastic as advertised right around 3.7 inches of relief and very clear. The reticle is just right at 24 power and, at least to my young eyes, is still very usable as a crosshairs at 6 power although it may be a little faint for some.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a 4" sunshade, flip up lens covers, and an athlon branded throw lever along with the lens cloth, allen key and booklet packed neatly in the scope box, all of which fit very tight to the scope when installed. That should be advertised in the description, I assumed all I was getting was a scope, an Allen key and a cloth plus the booklet but that was not the full story! Looks awesome up next to my Ithaca .308 Cal LSA55 deluxe model though and I cannot wait to try it out!
