I put the Maxim short tube with the JP heavy silent capture buffer assembly on my Fightlite MCR and it runs like a champ with my Franklin Armory BFSIII.all mounted on a Noveske N-4 lower.I had to trim a couple mm off the top of the Rod's to clear the larger upper receiver and removed the buffer detent and spring but has run flawlessly
All sounded great so gave this a chance. It now lives on my MCR.milled a tiny bit off the top of the rods to accommodate the wider upper, and used the standard pdw mount with Maxim tube.charging handle and stock/brace rods function completely with this setup. heavy spring is chugging right along.and the brace work's just fine for the SBR barrels \m/ \m/
So I put this on the closest AR at hand just to see how it felt.ok seems like an enjoyable reticle,go to remove it, find the carbine I was intending to leave it on.SNAP!the lever snapped off!looks a poor design to me.called Eotech zero support.i disassemble the qd mount today and WOW!what a P.O.S. design truly.so good thing I'm a machinist and a gunsmith.so thanks for the sodomy Eotech. I'm making a better stronger faster qd mount.then I'm selling this.my qd mounts on holosun, trijicon, aimpoint and even the outdated Elcan aims all functional they haven't broken.
This rm07 has found a permanent home on a Kriss Vector with a scalarworks Leap/rmr absolute.Amazing combo!!!only problem is.im going to absolutely need at least two more.I have one eye and the 6.5moa is perfect for me.
I've only used this on an AR pistol so far, works great! can't wait to put her on an actual pistol next.worth every penny, plus the pic-mount that came with made this an easy decision for my 1st reddot.
