GWOT King - a MUST-HAVE
Written on Dec 10, 2025
This might be the only bipod you will actually need if you have several firearms that you use. It's got the bigger knob to adjust the tension without having to buy the lever that sticks out. It's not as easy to use as the lever, but I can see why this is good - as it is smaller profile and still nearly as useable. The QD system takes a minute to learn and understand, but it literally works in the matter of about 2 seconds. If you have a KAC/GGG style foregrip on your rail, you can quickly unscrew the VFG, remove it, slap this on and deploy the feet in about 10 seconds, which is awesome if your needs change. I use the Sun and Shadow strap that connects the feet, so all you need to lower the legs is to pull just one of the legs. I consider this to be the most useful lightest, ultimate system that can be used on a variety of rifles, and the ONLY tactical bipod that has nearly as much use in theatre. Just spend the money on this.

I'm happy with DPM products. This one helps out in 357 Sig for my P229.

Really Great Value
Written on Jun 13, 2024
Got on a reduced price offer for around $200. It is phenomenal value. The magnification isn't too hard to use. The 1x isn't perfect, but it's plenty good for serious use. There's some fisheye, but it's more than acceptable. The lume is not terribly bright, but it's a value scope. I think that the overall construction is good. Glass is decent. I think this is the BARE minimum level of an optic you should get, especially for the price.
