Excellent upgrade to the G48

Review for Glockmeister TYR Glock Gen 1-4 Trigger

I do not write reviews often, but this TYR trigger impressed me so much! I shopped hard for a replacement trigger for the absolutely horrible OEM trigger in the G48. I have replaced the triggers in a G48, G43, and G43x in the past (not to mention countless other models). Paid more than this TYR for an Overwatch trigger and hated it. Vickers is satisfying for the price, but they needed a bit of fine grinding to take off sharp edges. This Glockmeister TYR is even better than I expected or hoped. Perfect fit, steady and smooth take-up, crisp break, and just the right spring force in the safety lever. I do not like the concept of some brands that rotate the trigger over screw threads; this TYR trigger uses a nice roll pin. This is the best replacement Glock trigger that I have ever experienced.

Got this handguard for a SBR in 300 Blackout with 8.5" barrel and a Silencerco Omega sound suppressor. I wanted the handguard to protect the can but leave enough protruding in order to periodically remove it. The large diameter of the can required a handguard with a large inner diameter, and this 12.6" YHM model fits perfectly in every way. Rock solid mount. Couldn't be more pleased.......even with one that costs 3X more.

I bought one of these shades for a 40mm Leupold VX3 scope. There were burrs in the threads that prevented it from threading into the scope. I returned it for exchange, and the second one was even worse. I have sunshades for Nikon and Weaver scopes and they are perfect. Leupold has obviously put out a bad batch. I returned the second one for a refund. Maybe wait a few months and try again somewhere.

Ergonomics of this stock are great. Fit to the barrel and action is really good. I don't like the rubber-coated stocks that stick to everything, which is why I really like this hard nylon model. Great product.
