I was searching for a long time, and had begun to accept that my search was in vain… There were so many along the way that just somehow felt like all the others. I was alone with a box of toys that I would acquire and play with and soon discard into this box of obscurity…When I had accepted to the point of surrender I heard a racket outside of the crib and saw delivery truck drive away and the Optics Planet box on the stoop. I moped back to the armory, sat and opened the all too familiar OP box of blue print. I fetched my favorite DDM4 V7 and began to tinker. That’s when I shouldered her and felt it. The grey that had become my world of awash in color. The weapon shouldered so effortlessly and yet so perfectly. Comfort coupled with positive control. A robust feel in the hand while presenting a subtle profile. My search was truly over, my exploration no longer necessary. The BCM KAG. I now nerd out in my armory at the crib, oblivious to the toy box, full of colorless sundries. I have the ONE.

I have not been able use this as advertised.I turned on YOUTUBE for tutelage and it seemed like common sense. I have made a bunch attempts and I get maybe a couple rounds to feed and then hit a wall. I’ve tried it with my older USMC issued metal GI mags, MAGPUL GEN 2 and 3 mags, Daniel Defense 32 rounders and finally Lancer L5AWM. It seems I’ve been suckered by a gimmick or I’m more Forrest Gump than I realize.

Also, loading 5,56 rounds into this “loader” was far more time consuming and tedious than advertised.

Value. Solid and well rounded scope. The OPMOD finish is very tough and so durable that any blemishes buff out with just a light rub from a tee shirt. This is an excellent starter LPVO and is a great option to ease into the capabilities of the engineering available in todays shooting sports. It is robust and a bit heavy and would not be well suited for a long range patrol. Clarity is good for the low cost and the reticle is distinct. The illumination is bright even in the middle of the day. Great for fun at the range and likely hunting too. Would buy again.

Solid and reliable mount. Ease of mounting and solid lock up. It is not a true quick release do to the need for a tool to tighten and loosen for release.Recommended upgrade over the stock MRO mount. Sturdy, aesthetic and light weight.

Very robust and solid shell. Built in locks have no play and function superb. The wheels are no exemption. I bought this on sale and was apprehensive of a disappointing delivered product. I developed an appreciation of Pelican products as the finest in the industry over the years, and accepted the price point they demand in kind.

After having purchased multiple similar long gun lock ups including those from Barska and Sentry Hornady finally delivered. It keeps a single carbine length AR with lights, grips and optics resting on its side. I’ve gone so far as to buy 3, first and second floor as well as the trunk of my Jeep (fits like a glove). Great work Hornady!
