Died a Few Months After

Written on Feb 04, 2024

I received the sight back in June. It’s been in the box waiting for me to complete my rifle build. In Nov 2023 I installed it and the sight functioned great. Then last week it died. I changed the batteries but it would not come back on.

I am hoping I can get an exchange or refund through the warranty.

I would not recommend this item.

One tooth pulled out

Written on Jan 14, 2024

I purchased it May 2023. When it arrived, it felt very well made and durable.

I used it once shortly after getting it. My max torque had been 40 - 45 ft pounds.

The second time I used it was today Jan 2024. The wrench slipped at 30 ft pounds. I heard a light thud on my desk. I didn’t see what it was. I checked the barrel nut and saw a small bulge on one of the nut where one of the teeth inserted. One of the teeth appeared to pull out while torquing an Aero Precision Barrel nut. The three teeth are not a part of the wrench. They are pinned into the wrench. I would not use this wrench.

Not Easily Adjustable

Written on Feb 18, 2023

I ordered this stock new. I like the design. When it arrived, I found that it was cut open and look to have been returned. It did not come with directions. After playing with the stock for a little while, I realized there isn't a spring on it. There is a pin that locks into the buffer that freely moves up and down. It's down when you get it. Then you set your length. Push the pin into place using the lever/button. An opening will align in the stock, and you will see a pin hole running through the stock and the pin you just moved. Next you take a separate pin and push it through the stock/pin that locks into the buffer. If you need to adjust it for someone else, put it away, etc., you have to remove the pin. Drop the other pin to unlock it from the buffer. Move it then reinstall the pin. Thers is nothing easy about it.
