Top notch optics

Love the Photon RT. I've rn the XT for years and the RT has a lot of upgrades over the XT. The view is super clear. I have paired my RT with a predator tactics coyote reaper XXL IR and am able to identify coyotes out to 7-800 yards easily. I typically don't use the onboard IR except for emergency use, but it is good to identify out to 200 and pick up eyes at 300 or so. The RT is super accurate. I'm able to shoot 1/2" groups at 100 yards easily. I have taken coyotes out to 300 yards multiple times. It is easy to sight in and adjust using the one shot sight function. The batteries are easy to change and last a long time when using Energizer litium. It is also able to run off a battery pack. The onboard recording function is easy to use. And videos can be uploaded to a phone or tablet over WiFi using stream vision, or direct hook up to a computer with the supplied cable. The zoom feature is a nice addition over the XT. The zoom is a little grainy, but that is expected with digital zoom. It is also excellent for accuracy on the longer shots. The RT manages IR very well and I'm able to see through brush and into trees for some distance. I have used this during the day and it seems that even the bright sun doesn't wash out the image. It is black and white during the day which is the only downfall. That being said it doesn't keep it from not performing well. If you predator hunt at night this is the scope to have.

Best of the Best

Love the XXL, I've used PT lights for years and they have nailed it with the XXL. Super bright and best battery life in the business. I am able to identify easily out past 7-800 yards. I can also pick up eyes past 1000 yards. The dimmer switch is easy to use and the beam focuses smoothly. Paired with my Sightmark Photon RT 6x50s the coyotes don't stand a chance.
