This is the fourth set I have had over the years and they are rock solid. I have never had a problem with scope or mount slippage in many years of usage elk, moose and deer hunting. The attachment the the rifle is solid and with the built in recoil lug on the ring and the matching slot on the rifle it makes movement from recoil non existent. The four screw ring cap attachment set up is much more solid than some of the other two screws set ups. All around I rank this Ruger ring/base set up the best option for M77 MKII rifles.
