Great for its category of spotter scopes. I would recommend this for a starter scope because of the glass quality. Chromatic aberration is seen from the 40x magnification to 60x. Eye relief is disappointing, had to shove my skull into the eyepiece above 35x. Although its drawbacks are inconvenient, this scope is more than capable for my tasks. It suits my needs at being able to see holes on paper at 300 yards, and having a buddy call corrections for splashes at 1000 yards on steel.
