When the release of the highly anticipated Mossberg 990 Aftershock finally came to pass. Consumers were buying them faster than Mossberg could produce them.
Offered from the factory with the Crimson Trace laser saddle. They were also sold without this "accessory". Crimson Trace versions ( both Red and Green) were the first ones to sell out and go to "Backorder". Being impatient, I purchased Without, regretting my decision immediately after purchase.
After contacting Mossberg and Crimson Trace to inquire if this "accessory" would ever be available Aftermarket. I received an" We don't know" from both companies.
Six months pass, and the Shotgun Gods Smiled!
I opted for the Green version over the red due to reviews and my aging eyesight.
I've seen people using a Red dot receiver mounted sight on these, I'm not fond of the idea of putting a gun like this near my face.
A Must Have for Any 990 Owner!!!
