The correct tool always makes the job go better. The jag holds the cleaning patche securely while guiding it down the barrel

BKL model 261 rimfire dovetail scope mount

Written on Mar 16, 2023

Very solid mount. Easy to install. Excellent installation directions included on the manufacturer's website. Torque wrench is advised. The base calls for 35 inch/lbs and check your scope manufacturers torque for the rings.

Promag Archangel stock for M1A scout squad fit

Written on Mar 16, 2023

One thing to add to my initial review. I didn't file down the stock at all. I used a very large pair of channel locks , and 2 rubber pads, to protect the stock and receiver. I positioned the jaws at the back of the receiver and on the stock behind the trigger area and needed very little pressure to get trigger guard to cam over and lock. I did use a little grease on the trigger guard hooks. Also be sure to fully seat the trigger assembly into the cutout on the stock before applying pressure.i got a tight fit with the draw pressure at the muzzle end of the barrel and stock. Promag Archangel stock for M1A scout squad

Written on Mar 16, 2023

I installed the Promag Archangel stock on my SA M1A scout squad. Other mods include a Sadlak oprod guide,Tubb's hammer spring and oprod spring kit, SA unitized gas cylinder and a Sadlak scope mount(after removing the SA forward scope mount). I was having trouble keeping 6" groups at 100 yds with the original OEM setup rifle. I sighted in the scope at 50 yards today and the rifle seems to be grouping at about 1.5" using off the shelf 149 grain fmj ammo. I can't say which mods did what but I'm pleased with the results. The stock did add noticeable weight and reduced the felt recoil.
