Scope is exactly as described. I own a lyman super targetspot from the 1950's so it's easy to compare them . The glass on the hi lux is very clear . The design is a bit different and takes a little to get use to but I like it and do not regret buying it . They could have done a better job in the bluing department. The parallax at the end of the scope doesn't match in color buts it's not a big deal
