Retired military (20 years) and retired law enforcement (21 yrs 9 Mo). I build bench rest rifles and love shooting long range bench rest. I've been a reloader for more than 40 years.
Bought one of these mag adaptors to try in my side charging Bear Creek Upper receiver. It keeps jamming rounds up at a 45 degree angle striking the top of the breech face. I contacted MEAN Arms and was advised this insert will not work with the Bear Creek bolt that feeds from the center of the mag. The MEAN only works with a carrier that feeds from the side of the mag, not center.
