Once you get it adjusted it is pretty solid and has no wiggle room. Be sure to use thread locker on the hinge bolt as well as the two on the adjuster sleeve. Opens and closes well and seems to be very secure so far. The only thing I would change would be the length of the hinge bolt. After tightening it has about 3/16" extra thread coming out. With it being a custom rectangular head you cannot use standard hardware from home depot. I may end up cutting it later. All in all it is a good optic mount.
