Installation was a very minor challenge getting timing right but didn't take more than 20 minutes. I searched for but couldn't find information as to using the set screws properly as instructions seemed to indicate installing them after securing the guard to the barrel nut however I used them first to carefully align the Picatinny rails before installing the eight screws. I have a 7 and 10 inch version for a dual upper pistol build and this method provided absolute precision for rail alignment. Very pleased and will probably be using these handguards for all future builds.
Rail is polymer, not aluminum...

Processing return, I've asked them to update the listing to reflect that this is plastic, not aircraft grade aluminum, it's constructed of polymer, and does not include the key mod nuts, only the screws, I've, umm, never see anyone do that before although they are readily available to purchase, I have just never seen a product come without them. Double fail. I really don't know what they were thinking on this one as they didn't describe that in the manufacturers description. Not a fault of Optics Planet I don't think. It's just hard to find long rails when you don't want a quad but you need a full length rail on the bottom.
