28 Gauge shells

Bought a new 28 gauge shotgun. Ammo can be a bit difficult to get. Really happy to find AA 1300 fps #7.5 ammo for knocking down steel targets. Other gauge AA shells function well and these are no different. When your shotgun likes a shell you stick with it. Will definitely reorder.

Although this flip-up cap is listed as being for the NXS scope, I'm using it on my SHV 50mm objective lens. It's so much more convenient than the bikini cover that came with it. My only regret is because of the quick focus of the eye piece there isn't one for that end.

Caldwell Bipod Pivot Lock
A friend introduced me to this product. It's a great idea because using the pivot lock handle instead of trying to move the nut with your fingers is so much easier. The only problem is. In the directions. They say to use a 5/16" socket. The nut is actually a 1/4". I drove me crazy for about 10 minutes!

This is my 3rd Harris Bipod in this model. It works, it's lightweight, and it's sturdy. I did add one item to it, a Pivot Handle. It really does make life easier instead of messing with the nut on the front end. Optics Planet always comes through. In fact both parts were scheduled to be shipped separately and they arrived together and ahead of schedule.

OK, i really didn't NEED another knife, but this is just a nice looking finish that CRKT put on my favorite model. Several people have commented how nice it looks and I gave some as Christmas presents. This is probably the 3rd Desert Tan CRKT I've bought. You don't have to baby it because if the finish.

A friend introduced me to CRKT knives years ago. This model is a little heavier than I usually order. I have a rule - Always carry a sharp knife. - and this fills the bill. The blade keeps its edge and the combination of straight and serrations works well.
