nice n lightweight
Written on Apr 14, 2026
Build quality feels solid enough for an extremely light weight rail. The only issue I see is that I run back up iron sights with a red dot/magnifier on the top rail, and the top m lok slots are kind of useless as anything else you'd want on a top rail are pic or require an m lok adapter, which then puts the device directly in the field of view of the red dot. Was wanting to run a holosun iris 1 for a laser, but that thing won't work. I guess my only "issue" is actually saving me from spending another ~$300 so my issue is a good one to have. Oh, and the m lok attachable pic plate that comes with it is polymer. Good enough for a light, but not much else.

Garmin killer?
Written on Apr 11, 2026
Not sure yet what the drawback is of saving $100 in getting this over the Garmin, but it is not obvious to me. Haven't bothered with the apps of either brand and use as standalone devices to plug data into other apps/software. At worst, I've seen in person, and online, a 1-5fps difference between this and the Garmin and not often on the high end of difference. Mostly they both showed within 1-2 fps of one another. Even if the Garmin is more accurate to 1-2 fps consistently, it does not justify the price difference.

1st time trying this and I love it so far

Put this on the lower I recently built out for my Geissele Super Duty 14.5 upper and I am really impressed with how this stock feels. Love the undercut on it, it looks really cool, and fits super ultra snug to the buffer tube, which is great for accuracy. Sliding it on the the buffer tube the first time makes ya think you're gonna break something, but you're not. Just keep prying on the little pin while at the same time pushing the stock onto the tube and it'll slide right on.

Perfect for me and my brother

Magpul Industries AR Rifles MOE-K2+ Grip
My brother and I like to build guns. We absolutely need to get off our Magpul MOE-K2 (series) kick and try out some other grips, but darn these things just fit and feel perfect for us that we can't seem to add anything but these to our carts. They feel great, angle is great (personal opinion subject to personal choice here), they 20 bucks give or take a few, and they have multiple colors with storage to boot. What's not to love about these grips?

About as good as you can buy

Not sure what else is out there for the "traditional" style buffer system that is better than this Geissele Mil-Spec Buffer Tube Assembly w/ Super 42 Spring, but this thing is for sure worth the money, even on a budget build I'd save up the roughly 100 bucks to have this on any lower build.

Very good quality

Got this for a 2nd lower I built out for my full Geissele Super Duty upper. Very nice quality parts that are at least as good as mil spec.

Amazing for my 14.5
Written on Apr 03, 2026
I have a 14.5 super duty setup for 400yds and in critter hunting and this stock is much better for that, for my kiddo and I, than the typical CTR stock on the other rifles. Will be buying more of these for the AR10s soon.

Arguably (by me) one of the best money can buy
Written on Apr 03, 2026
I have this setup in my 14.5 and now thinking of getting one for my 12.5 that has the JP Silent capture setup with the H2 buffer. Will have to do side by side with my brother's 12.5 with the Geissele setup he has to be sure. My tiny little 12yr old daughter shoots the suppressed 14.5 setup no issue at all with this buffer system and no adjustable gas block. She said she noticed a big difference in recoil.

Best grip for me

Review for
Magpul Industries AR Rifles MOE-K2+ Grip
I love the size and feel of this grip and the storage for an extra flashlight and optic battery along with a couple small allens is the cherry on top. Haven't tried any other grips since I switch over to the K2/K2+ grips about 10 years ago. It's on all 3 of my AR style rifles and will be on the next build as well.

Primary Arms PLx Gen II Compact RDB 1-8x24mm 30mm Tube LPVO Rifle Scope, First Focal Plane
Got this on a sale and paid just under 1500 after tax and shipping. For the price, you won't find a better LPVO. This thing rocks. Got the ACSS Raptor reticle as I'm running this on a 14.5 super duty and prefer the 50yd zero and ballistic drop reticle over the Grififn. Glass clarity is superb all through magnification range. And yes, this thing is absolutely red dot bright even on 7/10 setting. Maybe at high noon on a glacier would you need to go higher than 8/10 on the illumination setting. Don't bother getting scope rings with this as you will do away with the near invisible scope feature when you're at the lower magnification settings. That is also an amazing thing about this scope: at 1x, with both eyes open, the scope itself is barely perceptible when looking at your targets. Once you get the diopter adjusted to your eye (both eyes open!) there is no noticeable shift in your view when taking turns closing each eye to see the shift.
