Excellent upgrade to your mil-spec trigger. I have recently installed this model on my carbine build. I also have the 24E model on my long gun. Both are excellent products. Depending on your intended use, I would recommend either. I chose this model for my build as it was less expensive (as my intended use is for plinking, fun and home defense, I did not want to break the bank). Simply put, I love the feel of this trigger. I am certainly no "trigger expert" and have limited experience using other brands. However, this model has excellent break (like snapping a candy cane), excellent reset characteristics, and almost no noticible creep. It is tough, durable and looks great. Installing the springs for the first time was a little tricky, although I am no gunsmith and do not claim to be skilled at such activities. Currently I have the 2-lb springs installed on this model and the medium weight springs installed on my 24E. I will need to put a few hundred more rounds downrange before deciding which is best for me of course, but the ability to adjust is simply another great feature of this trigger. If you are looking for a substantial upgrade to a mil-spec trigger, consider purchasing this HIPERFIRE. In my opinion, the best (and should be the first) improvement you make to your AR platform.
