From all the videos I watched on this knife and especially have bearings I expected this knife to be as smooth as butter. To my surprise it was very hard to flip open even after adding a bit of oil to it. So I loosened the screw a little and the blade had a lot of sideways movement so I had to tighten back up again. I did the exact same thing to one of my other much less expensive knives and it was a lot smoother than this one and there was no sideways movement, plus it has brass and nylon for bearings. So either this knife slipped past QC or the manufacturing process has gone downhill since this knife has been out for a couple years now. I have flipped the heck out of this knife and no apparent change in ease of opening. I also bought another CRKT knife with the same bearings and it also has the same problem. Too bad because this is a beautiful knife and came hair popping sharp from the factory. I really wanted to use this for everyday EDC but won't because of the flipper. It does feel great in the hand but I don't like a sore finger trying to open it. I have much better knives for less than $20. Will I buy anymore CRKT? No because I have purchased two knife with the same bearing system and both are very disappointing especially for the price point. These knives were the most expensive knives I have ever purchased and the most waste of money. No, I would not recommend this knife or any knife from CRKT.

Very nice clear glass and handles my springer air gun very well. I was disappointed about the eye relief, its not 3" to 3 1/2" at all. More like 2" to 2 1/2. I do like all the color combinations and very easy to set the zero mark on the windage and elevation dials. The locks work great and the clicks are crisp. Bit of a heavier scope but very well made. I have put a thousand rounds through this scope and it has not moved at all, even with the locktite. Like I said, I wish it had better eye relief or I would have given it five stars.

The clarity of the scope was very nice and the AO adjustment was as advertised from 3yrds and beyond. The lighted reticule was a nice feature but not really necessary, but effective in low light conditions. I did not have a problem with the lighted reticule drowning out the subject. Unfortunately, the scope did not work on my setup. It is a short scope and would have been great on my AR rifle but I already have a scope for it. On my air rifle I could not get a good eye relief. Also, the snap rings did not work well. They keep getting loosened and had a hard time keeping them locked. As I said, it would have been great on an AR type platform, just not for an air rifle.
