This was my first Sightron purchase, I had heard of them but always went with Leupold or Nikon. Well this time after much deliberation I settled on Sightron. And boy oh boy I'm glad I did. The contenders were Leupold, Athlon, Nikon and Vortex of which I have a few of each on my rifles. Nikon and Vortex did not have the magnification I was looking for so they were eliminated quickly. Leupold was just out of my price range at that magnification. And Athlon, while I have one I just didn't think it would do the job, and that is Competition shooting Entry level. So Sightron it was and wow am I glad I didn't wait and save for the Leupold and I'm a Leupold guy, they top most of my rifles. But any way, getting back to the Sightron. Backed by a lifetime warranty I was pretty confident with my purchase. The reticle is as clear as can be. Light transmission in this scope is amazing more than my other scopes including Leupold is very close in fact it could very well be the same as Leupold, it's brightness I'm sure is attributed to the 56mm bell that lets in a ton of light, this is a low light dream come true. It makes everything brighter in all light conditions. Tracking is spot on. I did tracking tests of 3moa and 6moa every time it went back to the original starting point a very repeatable scope. Once you have it zeroed the bullet goes where the crosshair/dot is assumimng you doped your wind correctly. Some reviewers mentioned the mushy turrets, while they are not as clean as Leupol
