Great tool for the defensive last resort
Written on Sep 10, 2017
Installed on a Springfield V10 carry pistol. Fitment was perfect. Easy to adjust windage and elevation. 8 shot group at 21' measured 1 3/4" wide by 3/4" high. Take out the "flyer" and it was only 7/8" wide. 3/4 second per shot interval. Much better defensive accuracy/shot placement than using only irons, especially in low light conditions.
Visibility on target in daylight at defensive ranges is excellent.
Installation was quick and easy, quality of materials is excellent.
Also have the same green laser sight on a Colt Defender, and their LG 350G on a Smith & Wesson Model 642 Airweight in .38 Special +P.
I would buy it again. And I have.

Goal Zero Guide 10 Plus Solar Recharging Kit
This handy little unit will completely charge up your cell phone off the charge stored in its battery pack.
It is not high enough capacity to fully charge an Ipad, probably only 12-15%. It is a breeze to set up, and a very handy way to juice up rechargeable AA batteries for any portable device that doesn't have a connection for charging, like walkie talkie, gps, radio, etc.

Excellent Package
Written on Jul 08, 2015
This unit was mounted on a Beretta CX4 Carbine. At 50 yards with the Red Dot it was placing every shot in the 10 ring, an excellent result, using Federal American Eagle 165gr fmj rounds in .40 S&W. Have not yet pushed it to 100 with the scope, and will update this review when I do.

MTM 100 Round 12 Gauge Shotgun Shell Dry Box

MTM 100 Round 12 Gauge Shotgun Shell Dry Box
This is a compact, practical storage can for your 12ga shells. The single latch is more than robust enough to handle the weight of a full box, which is 17.0 lbs for 100 rounds, arranged in two trays of fifty, plus four of the five round shell boxes, and a cable lock. (You can fit five of the standard five round boxes laying flat on top if you wish, for a total of 125 rounds; I only had four left over.)
The MasterLock type key lock with a 13 inch long cable will thread through both sides of the clasp for a secure connection if you want to lock them up. A standard 1/4 inch thick padlock hasp is too thick to fit through the locking hole.
The lid will separate from the box completely, and with the lid handle folded flat, you can flip it over to serve as a makeshift tray if you so desire.
The top has the standard stacking 'ridges' on the four corners to pile them on top of each other for efficient use of space.
A lightweight but sturdy, heavy molded box that looks like it will hold up to a lot of practical use.
This is a much better way to transport or store 12ga shells than tossing 20 boxes into a zipper bag or stacking them on a shelf.

MTM Military Style Ammo Can .30
Written on Feb 23, 2015
This is an excellent product. With the locking tab you can padlock the can, toss in a dessicant pack with the ammunition and you are good for long term storage. The hinges are strong and I have had no problems with either the .30 or .50 caliber cans holding full capacity. Great for transporting ammo to the range as well. A very functional and well priced item.

Excellent rimfire scope
Written on Jan 08, 2015
This scope has the clarity and quality glass and reticle you expect and get from Leupold. It was mounted on a Ruger 10/22 Take Down with low Burris Xtreme rings (perhaps more robust and heavier than necessary, but the rifle with scope is so light that the weight was not a factor for me). Within minutes it was zeroed in and ringing the 3" diameter pendulum ten out of ten at 50m. My three sons all took turns with the same results, and all of us came away from the range thoroughly pleased with the Leupold scope set up and the combination with the Ruger 10/22 Take Down rifle. We took that rifle apart and reassembled it at least a dozen times during the session, and the scope held its zero. The receiver slips snugly into the backpack case without removing the scope as well. American made, great warranty, it works the way it should.

Leupold VX-2 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope
Mounted the Leupold VX-2 3-9x40mm rifle scope on top of a Ruger 7.62 using the Burris AR-P.E.P.R. quick detach mount, coupled with a Trijicon RMR reflex on their 45 degree side mount. The objective bell of the Leupold clears the Trijicon mount and RMR cleanly, immediately forward of the ejection port. The Leupold provides the clarity/accuracy they are well known for at an excellent price. The operator can quickly roll the stock up maintaining cheek weld and open the left eye (for those of us who are right handed shooters)for both eyes open use of the close range reflex dot on the Trijicon, then roll back down to quickly re engage the scope while maintaining cheek weld and without losing your eye relief on the medium range scope. Still need to run a few more exercises with the attach/detach/attach Burris mount to see how well the zero holds, but so far it all appears to be working together nicely. I have several Leupold scopes and have always been well pleased with them, on both bolt and semi auto action rifles.
