Review for
TRU-SPEC Paracord
Was looking for some 550 paracord for some of our outdoor activities. It's nice to keep in a pack for for emergency uses. Knowing it was made by a government contractor gives peace of mind that it will hold up to the weight specs it is rated for. Our biggest use has been for hanging backpack style hammocks.

Review for
KeyGear Magnifier Loupe Tool
My wife and I try to take alot of hikes each year. They vary from sidewalks to rail trails to woods walks. We try to keep an assortment of things in our pack just in case th need arises. Having a magnifying glass was something we thought could come handy for tick removal al or even starting a fire. That it's made of glass it should resist scratches and it's enclosure protects it even more. Nice and compact.

Review for
UST ParaTinder Zipper Pull 2-pk
I always carry some tent pole rope in my backpack, just in case. With these zipper pulls I not only keep them out of my pack but they can be used as fire starter tinder as well. I have already crossed paths with another hiker who had a need for some strong cord and I was able to help out.

Backpack backup

My wife and I both have Vortex Diamondback binoculars are 100% satisfied with them. More than once we went hiking but forgetting to take the binoculars with us. So we figured to keep a minocular in our pack. Looking at all the options we kept coming back to the Vortex Solo 8x32. It is lightweight, optically clear and has a solid feel to it. It comes with a nice, durable pouch with a belt loop that won't take up much pack space. And with the low price it was a no brainer.
