I shoot left-hand, and when I bought my Savage Mark II many years ago I thought the Boyd's thumbhole stock was ambidextrous, but it was not. The gun was mostly for my kids anyway. I finally decided to replace the stock with an ambidextrous stock. This Boyds stock is solid, adjustable, and the action dropped in perfectly. I shortened the barrel, added a suppressor and put on a new scope, and I'm enjoying this gun all over again.
