ATN had the ball, ran down the field, had a shot at goal and missed a "sitter"

OK here we go!!!!!!!!
I also own the X-sight2 and Binox binoculars so I'm very familiar with the ATN kit.
X-sight2 also had many early issues but eventually as the firmware matured it became a great product.
I think the 4K has a lot of potential but techs at ATN need their backsides kicked for releasing a product with obviously immature firmware that has clearly caused so many people grief.
I've also been through all the freezing, rebooting issues etc. that others have and have come up with the following conclusions:-
New firmware I'm sure will fix the majority of problems as will an update to Obsidian 4 which is also responsible for the scope freezing. I won't be using Obsidian 4 until both the scope firmware and Obsidian 4 is fixed.
Suggestions for ATN:-
1. Release new products when they are ready for market, you guys are not doing yourself any favours, what you've done here will turn many customers totally off the ATN brand when it shouldn't be the case.
2.The scope rings are a great improvement over the X-sight2 mounting system but I would suggest you make the mounts adjustable, maybe simply by having a column section that can be easily removed so that the height can be reduced to accommodate a bigger range of firearms.
3. The SD card metal screw in cap on X-sight2 is far superior to the 4K and the SD card slot itself needs to be more foolproof in respect of inserting seamlessly.
4. Inclusion of a lens cap is a "no brainer" but the cover is a nice addition over

Bushnell 4x50mm Equinox Z Digital Night Vision Binocular
Written on Jul 29, 2016
Not many reviews on this product so I took a bit of a punt when I purchased this item. I've been very happy with all my other Bushnell products including scopes and range finder binoculars so that had a lot to do with my purchase.
It is for a start a very well made product, tough rubberised covering with an up market carry case. I found night vision to be a lot better than the day mode which is what I bought them for anyway. I think if they had high definition 1080 as do the ATN Binox's these binoculars would be outstanding. The screen is big so you get a great view. Very simple to use including taking pics/videos. The IR light is really quite strong, most of the time I would keep the IR turned down to Low or medium. Battery life like all these units is not fantastic, I would say if you leave it on until the batteries run down, 2-3 hours would be the limit. But if you use them for 10 minutes or so then turn them off for a while the batteries charge up a bit, it takes 4 AA's which are not that expensive anyway. In summary a great product from Bushnell, better than Gen 1 and they really give you a great view on a dark night, if Bushnell ever bring out the same in a HD model I would give it 6 stars.

Vortex Optics Talon HD 10x42 Roof Prism Binocular TLN-4210-HD
Written on Dec 11, 2015
I decided to try the Vortex Talon 10x42 as a result of using a number of Vortex scopes and being extremely satisfied with the clarity especially for the prices asked vs. numerous other similar priced scopes I'd tried.
My 10x42's arrived from Optics Planet here in Australia within a week and a half, fantastic turn around in my opinion.
Apart from an avid hunter I also do a lot of bird watching and it's difficult especially with the smaller birds to get a good look at them in detail with anything but a pair of high end European optics with a prohibitive price tag.
Well the Talon's blew me away, so sharp and clear, I can't put them down.
